Lithology and Thickness

This Fm is composed mainly of yellow-brown sandstone, thick-bedded, fine- to medium-grained and pebbly, interbedded with carbonaceous shale in the middle part, and mottled clay beds at the base. Measured thickness recorded in the type area is 750 m (c. 2480 ft).
